REGISTRATION OPENS SOON for the MONA/MONL 2026 Nurse Leadership Forum!

The Missouri Nurses Association and Missouri Organization of Nurse Leaders 2026 Nurse Leadership Forum - Leading with Humanity: Building a Culture that Supports Nurses is scheduled for August 12th at the Capital Bluffs Event Center, located at 1616 Oilwell Rd Suite B, Jefferson City, MO 65101.

We invite front line nurses and nurse leaders from all care settings to collaborate in restoring a culture of civility through Communication, Collaboration, Consistency, and Compassion. The 2026 forum is an opportunity to explore with your peers how to overcome workplace challenges and improve the overall culture in the workplace. Topics will focus on caring for the nurse, practitioner emotional intelligence, psychological safety, cultivating trauma-informed leadership and the healing power of compassion. Collaboration and communication are vital to forging the future of care delivery in an environment where nurses want to work. We hope you will join us!

Registration and exhibits open at 8:00 am and the program begins at 9:00 am. A continental breakfast is provided for all attendees at 8:00 am. Lunch will be served at 12:00 pm along with networking time with exhibitors participating. The forum will conclude at 3:15pm.

Successful Completion – Attendees must pre-register, participate in all of the educational sessions and complete the online conference evaluation to receive a certificate of completion. The link to the online evaluation will be emailed to participants (to the email address provided at registration) upon conclusion of the activity.

Contact Hours - Participants meeting the successful completion requirements will receive 4.75 contact hours.

ACCREDITATION

VTL Center for Professional Development is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

What is VTL Center for Professional Development? The Kansas State Nurses Association, Missouri Nurses Association and Nebraska Nurses Association formed a collaborative, namely the Midwest Multistate Division (Midwest MSD), which was renamed VTL Solutions in 2025, with the goal of promoting efficiencies and growth. As part of this collaborative, the VTL Center for Professional Development (Center for PD) was formed, which is accredited as an ANCC approver and provider of NCPD, to address the educational needs of nurses in each of the participating states.
